Tear down is 99% done

I've continued to pull apart the B235R and it's gone as well as I could have hoped – it's a nice engine to work on thanks to the keyed crank. There's no need for special tools – all that's really required is some standard metric sockets and a set of torx.

Factory cross hatching in the bores, looks pretty good to my untrained eye

Oil pan not too bad after a quick degrease.. I'll get it tanked (unless $$$)

Cylinder head showing signs of needing a skim.

... and maybe a bit of valve love..

Bearings in both rods and mains look in great shape, very encouraging stuff – this was a healthy motor.

Balance shafts have been tapped out.. I *think* I'm keeping them..

Only real fail so far – killed this T40 when my T40 bit snapped/sheared the first time I hit it with the impact driver. Tried hammering in a T45 and using a manual impact driver.. no luck. This is the last 1%, guess I'll let the shop drill it out.
